I was born and raised in Iowa, graduated with a Bachelor Degree from Iowa State University, and started my respiratory therapy career in 1972. I got to Texas as soon as I could and began teaching at Amarillo College in 1984 and semi-retired from there in 2019. During that time, I served on the TSRC Board of Directors multiple times, co-chaired the State Sputum Bowl Committee for 10 years and was named State Educator of the Year. It’s been a long career in health care and I have never regretted a moment of it!
